At Marc-On Shooting, we offer an All-Women’s Basic Handgun Course. This course introduces the fundamentals of revolvers and semi-automatic handguns. It is designed for beginners and those seeking a refresher on safety and shooting techniques. This class is taught by highly qualified instructors who have years of training and are proficient in the instruction and handling of handguns.
IMPORTANT: Training Program Information
An Introduction to the World Of Guns and Marksmanship
- Training includes a class and live fire
- Approximately 4 hours of training
- All ages from 12 and up
- $100 a person, + tax and ammo
Requirements:
- Bring your firearm and magazines, or rent one from us!
- 50 rounds of brass-cased ammunition (available in the shop)
- No experience needed
Class Covers:
- Safe gun handling
- Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship
- Firearms manipulation:
- Loading
- Unloading
- Clearing stoppages
- Proper storage
- Maintenance of your guns
Cost: $100, which includes ear and eye protection, target, and the opportunity to shoot 50 rounds in our state-of-the-art range with a qualified instructor. (Ammunition not included)
Upon course completion, participants will receive a Graduation Certificate and a coupon for a discount on future classes, providing the student qualifies on the range.
NOTE: Renting a firearm and the 50 rounds needed for this class is NOT included in the price of the class.
VITAL: The class will begin on time. Late arrivals will not be allowed access to the class and will be deferred to another scheduled class. Emergencies/problems occur, and arrivals past a certain point (for some classes) would result in lost vital information and could result in injury or worse, depending on the class/information. Please plan accordingly to arrive early (especially if you have to rent a firearm for a specific class or course).
