Job Title: Part-time Instructor

Job Summary:
Marc-On Shooting is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Instructor to conduct firearm training classes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of firearms, safety protocols, and instructional techniques. This role involves teaching various classes, ensuring the safety of all participants, and providing a positive and educational experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and conduct firearm training classes for customers of all skill levels.
Ensure all training sessions adhere to federal, state, and local firearm regulations.
Provide hands-on instruction on firearm safety, handling, and maintenance.
Create and distribute instructional materials and resources.
Assess participants' skills and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe and controlled environment during all training sessions.
Stay updated on the latest firearm safety practices and industry trends.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating class sessions.
Handle administrative tasks related to class registration and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

Certified firearms instructor or equivalent experience.
In-depth knowledge of firearms and firearm safety.
Previous experience in training or instructional roles, however, we are willing train the right person.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work with individuals of varying skill levels.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Working Hours:
Part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide detailed information about firearms, ammunition, and accessories.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local firearm regulations.
Conduct firearm safety demonstrations and answer customer inquiries.
Assist in processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Restock shelves and displays as needed.
Assist in inventory management and stock counts.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
