It has been a tough couple of years for our 2nd Amendment right and all other rights. But if our 2nd Amendment right is taken away, make no mistake, the rest of our rights will also be. In our effort to better secure this critical right locally, you are invited to join us for the Republican Party of Chippewa County’s Inaugural 2nd Amendment Gun Banquet.
Within the last year or so, the ATF, a bureaucratic and unelected organization, has unilaterally made “laws” without our elected Congress. First, they banned bump stocks, which our US Supreme Court rightfully overturned. More recently, the ATF banned arm braces, which, after June 1st, made hundreds of thousands of law-abiding American citizens felons. The most egregious act by the ATF effectively took away the rights of adults between the ages of 18 and 21 from owning firearms. The bans must be stopped at the local level.
We, the people, must demand our local elected officials honor and defend the 2nd Amendment by making Chippewa County, WI, a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County.
All proceeds of this event will be used by the RPoCC, primarily in Chippewa County, to support 2A causes and local 2024 election-cycle candidates while also aiding other day-to-day functions. This event will also benefit those outside of Chippewa County, as our 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County efforts could inspire more counties to do the same.
